Zhangzhou Houshi Port BTOS Project
On June 3, 2018, along with M/V "Weixiang 109" successfully berthed at the No. 3 berth in Houshi Port, CMPort BTOS, independently developed by CMHIT, was officially put into production.
Houshi Port is located in Zhangzhou China Merchants Economic Technological Development Zone. It is currently the largest deep-water bulk cargo terminal in Xiamen Bay, with good water depth and superior geographical position. The whole project was officially started on May 26, 2014, with total investment about 1.27 billion yuan. The project uses a coastline of 422 meters long. The waterfront of the dock is 90 meters wide and the construction scale is for vessel of 150,000 tons tonnage. The designed annual cargo handling capacity is 4.35 million tons. The total enclosed area of the fence in the port area is 330,000 square meters, including 220,000 square meters of storage yards, 40,000 square meters of warehouses and 3050 square meters of maintenance warehouses. The No. 3 berth in Houshi Port mainly transports grain, wood, ore, sand and gravel. After the berth is put into production, it will mainly serve the port logistics industry in the surrounding areas such as West and South of Fujian Province, East of Guangdong Province, as well as the port logistics demand of domestic and foreign trade goods in Jiangxi and Hunan Provinces, and further promote the coordinated development of the ports on the north and south sides of Xiamen Bay.
On June 14, 2018, Zhangzhou China Merchants Xiamen Port Co., Ltd. officially signed the Acceptance Report, marking the successful launch of the system.
